Community Wellness

We celebrate 5 years of operations in the Roost , situated inside the valence primary school in Bonham Road ,after that, we received the community group of the year award by B&D women's empowerment awards 2024.

Elevate Together Keep Fit

Our recent project, funded by Barking and Dagenham Giving, focused on creating an inclusive allotment space designed specifically for children and families with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

This prototype aimed to provide a safe and engaging environment where families could connect with nature, learn about gardening and enjoy outdoor activities together. By allocating social funding, we were able to tailor the space to meet diverse needs, offering an accessible and therapeutic experience for all participants.

The project highlighted the positive Impact that inclusive green spaces can have on well-being, community connection and family engagement.

Sculpture Trail

Our project, sponsored by the Barking Collective, aimed to provide local families with the opportunity to access and explore public spaces together. We organised outings that included complimentary transportation and lunch, making it easier for families to participate.

The insights gained from this experience have been invaluable, helping us understand the key elements needed to create inclusive public spaces that foster togetherness and meaningful interactions among families.
